editor and all changes will be journaled in the Auth Processing History on the
Auth Summary page.
-
Once edited, the request will be refreshed to Diamond on the next
scheduled export.

-

-
It appears that with some providers who are using older versions of web
browsers that the client-site scripting is not keeping them from submitting
incomplete requests. Specifically we've seen requests missing Service
Provider ID's and Primary Diagnosis codes. To keep this from happening
I've recommended all providers use the latest, most up-to-date version of
Interner Explorer, and I've written further error checking code that will keep
incomplete requests from being accepted.
-
There's a couple new statistics graphs comparing staff to provider
output. For the record, right now we only have a handful of providers
online and we average about 5.5% of requests are entered by providers.

inpatient claims.
-
Fixed some database connection issues related to the server change. These
occured when you performed a patient search, and clicked a member ID, for
member information.

-
Moving to dedicated server. As of this version, DRE
will be moving to a dedicated HP Netserver with lots of extra resources.
-
Changed logout behavior. Originally, if you were an Internal user (HPSJ
employee) it would sent you back the the Intranet, and if you were and external
user (HPSJ provider) it would send you back to the HPSJ public website.
As some HPSJ employee's log into DRE over the Internet it appears to be
more correct to send the user back to the www site if their connection was over
SSL, and to the Intranet if not.
-
New Statistics menu, and screen were added which shows the number of auths
submitted within the past 30 days by each user. It also shows, during the

planned that this tool will initially only allow updates to the mem-id, dx, and

A few bugs have been spotted in the inpatient data that is passed to
Diamond. Due to this Actual Admit data is now not required on the Update
screen, but is still required for Discharge.
-
Additionally, an Actual Discharge Date column has been added to DREs
database. It was deemed inappropriate to move DRE's anticipated discharge
date to diamond as this is not the acutal discharge date which is calculated
upon discharge from DRE.

-
New security, "Make Determination", implemented. This is to

inbox. This was due to a bug in javascript support in these browsers
where the form.submit() function appears to do absolutely nothing.

-
0.1.0a - DRE was released today in a "pre-alpha" state to
be evaluated by the HPSJ UM department. At this point I'd say that we are
about 75% to an initial full release. Beginning now I will begin to
increment the version number in the 1.2.3 format with the following
organization. The first digit represents a major new release of software
into the live production environment, be it a complete rewrite or major feature
addition. The second digit also represents a new update to the live
production environment of a less-important scale. For example bug fixes
or minor feature modifications and additions. The third digit in the DRE
version number represents a change that has been documented but will not be
released until the next minor release.
